Conservation Forum 2011 Perth

Hosted by Birds Australia Western Australia, the 2011 Birds Australia Conservation Forum is to be held at the University of Western Australia, Perth on Saturday 21 May 2011. The theme is "Important Bird Areas and the Conservation of Birds in South Western Australia." Important Bird Areas (IBAs) are the most important areas or habitats for birds. There are 36 IBAs in the south west of Western Australia. Our challenge is to find the way forward to conserve these IBAs and help save our globally important species. For a full program visit the webpage. Afterwards a Dinner will be hosted at Hackett Hall.

The Forum will be preceded by the Birds Australia AGM at which a vote will be taken on the proposed merger with BOCA.
