Oil Spill Summer Surveys on Bribie and Moreton Islands

Repeat surveys of the sites covered in the spring surveys late last year. As the oil affected areas range across a diverse range of habitats, monitoring of the avian fauna includes not only seabirds and shorebirds that utilise beach and rocky shore habitats, but also birds using coastal dune systems and waterbirds using coastal lagoon habitat. Moreton Island has 8 sites: and Bribie Island has 12.
